American Personal Chef Associationwas proud to
sponsor the 2nd Personal Chef Summit in the beautiful city
of Boston. Personal Chefs from the Four Corners of our
great country exchanged professional ideas and information
with one another. "Sharing our strengths" in order to grow
this industry, we are all committed to, in a professional
responsible way. Since we are all in it as a career
choice, this proved to be a powerful conference that
forwards its action for the entire industry.
What started out as a spur of the moment visit by some
chefs wanting to escape the "Frozen Tundra" where they
live, for a weekend in Southern California in February
1999, has grown to a major professional networking and
educational event. This
Boston Summit was such a major event and MORE!.
An APCA Member who attended
both the Seminar and Summit wrote:

professional and, at the same time, down to earth
and, Candy, your sense of humor gives such a feeling
of warmth and caring for your "would be personal
chefs". I learned so much, and did I mention
networking. I met so many wonderful people,
all so caring and willing to answer what feels like
a silly question, in a very kind way.
Your choice of guest speakers was superb. I can tell
they were all handpicked by you because their
expertise in the fields of food preparation,
marketing, and the business of keeping good records
and balancing the books was such a pleasure to
