Chef Bronowitz, who hails from Washington State, is the Western Region Vice President of the American Culinary Federation.

This former program director and veteran chef instructor at Edmonds Community College in Lynnwood, WA, served on his ACF chapter's board of directors for more than ten years. He was chapter president for four terms and named the chapter's Chef of the Year in 1987. In 1995 he was awarded an ACF presidential medallion.

Chef Bronowitz served on the ACF National By-laws Committee from 1993-1997 and has been the ACF National Certification Chair.

Chef Bronowitz also sits on the board for the Pacific Northwest Chapter of the American Institute of Wine and Food (AIWF). In 1994 he was one of the organizers of the Symposium on Taste and Health, a conference sponsored by the AIWF. He is a three time medal winner in the Professional Hot Seafood Competition.

Most recently, Chef Bronowitz is the Executive Chef of one of Seattle's newest health concept restaurants "Functional Fuel" and serves as editor for the American Personal Chef Association's The Professional Personal Chef college edition textbook.

The APCA welcomes Chef Bronowitz and thanks him for his unflagging support of the Personal Chef industry.
