Summit Fee
The REDUCED Summit registration fee of $450
includes the cost of
attendance at all general sessions, workshops,
social functions, planned
meals and educational hand-outs. (Lodging
reservations are not included
in the Summit registration fee.) No registration
will be processed
without proper payment accompanying the
registration form. Register
in advance of the Summit to avoid the
at-the-door administration fee of
$50 ($500 total).
Optional Events
We are pleased to offer intensive,
business-building workshops as
optional events on Sunday, October 8, at $50
each. Please refer to this
flier for descriptions of optional events.
Spouse/Partner Fees
For an additional fee of only $200, spouses and
partners may participate
in the educational sessions, social functions
and planned meals during
the Summit. Appropriate charges should be
included in the remittance
that accompanies your registration form, and
must be paid in advance
of the Summit. (Spouses and partners who
register at the door must
pay the full registration fee of $500, which
includes the at-the-door
administration fee.) If a spouse or partner
wishes to attend the optional
events, he or she must purchase them separately.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations submitted in writing to APCA by
September 22 will
be refunded, less a $50 processing fee. There
will be no refunds or
cancellations received after this date. All
refunds will be processed after
October 11.
Dress Code
The dress code for the Summit is chef coats
and/or business casual.

In October in San Diego, the average high
temperature is 75 degrees
Fahrenheit, and the average low is 61 degrees.
October weather is
mostly dry with a slight chance of rain.
Distribution of Publications and Promotional
Materials
Distribution of brochures, fact sheets,
advertising, industry publications
and promotional materials is not allowed during
the Summit except for
the companies participating in the official
Summit sponsorship program.
Distribution of these materials by sponsors is
allowed only within the
guidelines of the sponsor program.
Scheduling Non-APCA Functions
Events that conflict with officially sponsored
APCA events or educational
programming are not allowed during the Summit.
These include
hospitality suites, special breakfasts, focus
groups and similar events.
Hotel Reservations
Register by September 16 at the Town & Country
Resort and Convention
Center to lock in the special APCA rate of
$119/night, plus applicable
taxes. After Sept. 16, the Town & Country Resort
will honor reservations
on a space-available and rate-availability basis
only. Reservation cancellation

about $13, and is easily
accessible outside baggage claim.
