Can't Miss Pre-Summit Tour:

Arrive early to this year’s Personal Chef Summit in San Diego, and enjoy an optional tour of Olivewood Gardens and Learning Center—an urban, organic garden located in National City, Calif. The center’s goal is to educate students, teachers, families and volunteers to be healthy and active citizens, and is a destination for children from the surrounding urban community to explore connections between plants and history, science, art, literature, math and nutrition where learning is centered within the context of an organic garden.

The 90-minute tour will take place Friday, February 10, from 2:15 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. for an additional $20 per person. We’ll experience a guided immersion in the upper teaching gardens, lower main gardens and teaching kitchen and learn how organic produce is grown and harvested for nutrition classes, cooking demonstrations and workshops.
